Online Submission

1. Submission Platform
All manuscripts must be submitted through the Online Journal System (OJS) of Istiqsha: Adnin Journal of Integrative Islamic Inquiry at: https://rumahjurnal.iiq-jakendari.ac.id/istiqsha

Submissions via email will not be processed. Authors must register and log in to submit and track their manuscripts.

2. Registration and Login

  • Go to the journal homepage and click “Register” to create a new author account.
  • Complete your profile, including full name, institutional affiliation, country, and email address.
  • Once registered, log in using your credentials and click “New Submission” to begin.
  • If you have previously published or reviewed for the journal, use the same account to submit new manuscripts.

3. Steps for Online Submission
Step 1 - Start

  • Select the section of the journal that best fits your article (e.g., Research Articles, Conceptual Papers).
  • Confirm that your manuscript complies with the journal’s Author Guidelines, Ethics Policy, and Plagiarism Policy.
  • Agree to the submission checklist items.

Step 2 - Upload Submission

  • Upload your manuscript file in .docx format (not PDF).
  • Ensure that figures, tables, or supplementary materials are included within the manuscript file.

Step 3 - Enter Metadata

  • Enter the title, abstract, and keywords (3–5).
  • Add all author details (full name, institution, country, and email).
  • Include the ORCID ID for each author if available.

Step 4 - Confirm Submission

  • Review all details carefully.
  • Once confirmed, click “Finish Submission” to send your manuscript to the editorial office.

Step 5 - Acknowledgment

  • A confirmation email will be automatically sent to the corresponding author.
  • Authors can monitor the progress of their submission at any time by logging in to the OJS dashboard.

4. File Preparation Checklist

  • The manuscript follows Istiqsha’s Author Guidelines and APA 7th Edition reference style.
  • The file is in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
  • The manuscript contains no author-identifying information (for blind review).
  • The similarity index (Turnitin/iThenticate) is below 20%.
  • All figures and tables are clear and properly labeled.
  • References are complete and accurately cited.

5. Revision and Resubmission

  • The editor will return it through the OJS system with reviewers’ comments.
  • Authors should upload the revised version along with a response letter explaining how each comment was addressed.
  • All communication, revisions, and editorial decisions will be recorded within the OJS.
